A Carbondale man is charged with involuntary manslaughter for an accident that killed his girlfriend back in February.

Jessica Alford, 27, of Topeka, died when a car driven by Justin Spencer, 24, ran off Stanley Road in Osage County and rolled several times.

Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn told 13 News that Spencer is now in the Osage County Jail.

He's scheduled to appear in court May 29 on the involuntary manslaughter charges.
