A round of severe storms moved through parts of northeast Kansas Thursday evening.

Heavy rain and hail sparked severe thunderstorm warnings in Douglas County.

It was coming down so hard near Lawrence at about 6:30 p.m., that many vehicles simply pulled over until the rain passed.

The weather did include a pretty sight, though. A rainbow could be seen through all the rain. You can see it by watching the attached video.
