Storm chances will increase late this afternoon in western Kansas. After a little break Sunday morning, the severe weather risk will shift into the eastern half of the state Sunday afternoon.
Today marks six years since an EF-5 tornado ripped through the southwest Kansas town of Greensburg, killing 11 people and destroying 95 percent of the town.
