Snow Falling In SC Kansas

Light snow has been moving across parts of KAKEland Tuesday.

Rain transitioned to snow in Wichita around noon.

Northwest Kansas saw snow develop after midnight Monday and taper off by Tuesday morning. Total snow accumulations expected between 0 and 1”.

Southwest Kansas should see total snow accumulations expected between 0 and 2” with snow ending by Tuesday afternoon.

North Central Kansas will see light rain showers.

Wichita could see up to 1” of snow by Tuesday evening. Snow will move out of the state by Tuesday evening.

Winds will be strongest in Southwest Kansas where gusts could exceed 35 mph Tuesday afternoon. Elsewhere, winds could gust as high as 30mph.
