Parts of KAKEland are experiencing a blast of winter.
North winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts over 50 miles per hour have caused significant reductions in visibility due to blowing snow.
Kanarado reported the most snow in NW Kansas with 3 1/2 inches.
Goodland reported 2.8 inches of snow by noon. Cameras along I-70 show snow on the grass, but the roadway is clear.
In the Wichita area, temperatures have been falling throughout the day. Rain, possibly changing over to light snow is expected.
