Officials say an Oklahoma State University extension field office was destroyed as tornadoes touched down in southwestern Oklahoma.
No injuries have been reported in Monday's storms. A home and a hay barn were also damaged and a storm chaser's vehicle was overturned.
Tillman County emergency management director Jeffrey Rector said residents of a home two miles south of Tipton were trapped after their house was damaged. They were eventually rescued and suffered no injuries.
The damaged buildings were between Tipton and Frederick.
Rector says the storm chaser whose vehicle was overturned got into another vehicle and continued on the chase.
