Rain and some thunderstorms are possible over most of KAKEland Friday afternoon into the evening hours.

Chances for rain are moderately high for all of Kansas, expected to form in the western part of the state early Friday afternoon. Any showers or thunderstorms that develop will move into eastern Kansas later in the day.

The Wichita area could see rain late into the afternoon or early evening. The system should exit the state by midnight.

Although there could be storms, no severe weather is expected.
