A man critically injured after a tornado struck a northeast Kansas community, has died.
An EF-2 tornado touched down in Harveyville Tuesday night.
Emergency crews pulled Richard Slade, 53, from his damaged home. Slade was flown to a Topeka-area hospital for treatment. Eleven others were also hurt after the tornado hit the small town.
Officials said the family decided to take Slade off life support Wednesday afternoon. He died later that night.
Slade's death is one of 13 after tornadoes touched down in seven states.
