The second wave of a major winter storm system has impacted the state, bringing heavy snow.

Kingman 12"
Wichita's all time snowfall record is 15 inches on January 17th, 1962.
The snow should wind down in Wichita late this afternoon. KAKEland Managing Meteorologist Jay Prater said Wichita could receive another 1 to 3 inches of snow.
