NW Kansas Hit With First Winter Storm Of Season
Some parts of northwest Kansas received up to 10 inches of snow Thursday night as a winter storm rolled into the state from Colorado.

Some parts of northwest Kansas received up to 10 inches of snow Thursday night as a winter storm rolled into the state from Colorado.
But the National Weather Service says the white stuff will be gone by the end of the weekend as temperatures rise into the 50s and 60s.
Rawlins County saw the biggest accumulation with 10 inches.
Meteorologist Scott Lockhart says areas south of Interstate 70 received little if any snow from the storm.

Overnight: Mostly clear with an overnight low of 10°. Wind chill as cold as -3°.

Wind: East, becoming southeast 10 to 20mph, and gusty Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy and breezy with snow likely and an overnight low of 26°. 0 to 1” of snow accumulation possible. Wind: Southeast 10 to 20mph
