Tropical Storm Nora is strengthening in the open Pacific far off Mexico's coast, but the system is not expected to threaten land.
The storm has maximum sustained winds near 45 mph.
The storm was centered Wednesday about 665 miles southwest of the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula. It's moving west-northwest near 9 mph.

Overnight: Mostly clear with an overnight low of 10°. Wind chill as cold as -3°.
Wind: Northeast, becoming east 2 to 8mph
Wind: East 5 to 15mph Sunday Afternoon: Partly sunny and breezy with highs around 34°. Wind chill as cold as 21°.
