Update: 10:35PM
The storm has weakened and no longer poses a threat of tornadoes. But, the storm continues to bring very heavy rains in and around Winfield. Flooding has been reported along highway 160 near Oxford and flooding could be a significant problem overnight.

Update: 9:35pm
Storms continue to develop and move over the same areas of far eastern Sumner and into Cowley County. A wall cloud, sometimes rotating, has been slowly moving south along the Cowley and Sumner county line. Very heavy rains have been falling for almost two hours now on areas in/around Winfield, we could be looking at significant flooding in that area shortly.

KAKEland StormChaser Mike Phelps provided live updates and video from a storm that developed quickly along the Sumner and Cowley County line around 7:30PM. A rotating wall cloud was reported on numerous occasions near and south of Oxford. So far, no tornadoes have touched down and therefore, no damage has been reported. Tornado warnings have been issued for Sumner and Cowley Counties until 10PM.
