A Stormy Pattern Returning to Kansas?

The last three weeks of May are about to go down in history as one of the quietest periods without severe storms over a large part of the central plains, including Kansas. This pattern has given the KAKEland StormChasers a much-needed rest following a stormy April and Early May.

But, this delightful and quiet pattern recently might be about to change.

Long-range computer forecasting models are suggesting that a pattern change is going to happen in the next week, bringing a more stormier pattern back to "Tornado Alley" as early as June 3rd- and this pattern could stick around for a while.
