Weather Service: Flood Watch In Parts Of West Virginia, Virginia

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch notice for counties across West Virginia and into southwestern Virginia.

The weather service's Charleston office says based on forecasts for heavy rain tonight through tomorrow afternoon, flooding is possible in 22 counties in West Virginia, along with two in Virginia.

The weather sservice is forecasting one to two inches of rain by Monday afternoon. The areas most vulnerable to flooding are in southern West Virginia and southwestern Virginia.
