This is no April Fool's joke. Snow is falling in Kansas.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Western and North Central Kansas. Meteorologist Ben Pringle said some areas north of Newton could see one to three inches of snow this morning.
Snowfall totals include;
9 inches near Beverly in Lincoln County
5 inches in Ellsworth County
5 inches in Ottawa County
5 inches in Riley County
Gusty winds are also expected Thursday. Wind gusts over 40 mph have been reported.
