The Storm Has Passed, The Thaw Begins

Life is slowing returning to parts of Kansas pounded by a spring blizzard.

Temperatures will climb into the 40's on Sunday allowing some of the snow and ice to melt. All the precipitation has led to a flood warning in Labette County in Southeast Kansas.

Heavy snow started falling in the northwest part of the state Thursday night, later starting to fall in southwestern Kansas.
