Strong thunderstorms have developed early Tuesday afternoon east of Kellogg. At 6:00 p.m., the line stretched from west of Burlington to south of Arkansas City. The strongest storm was near Sedan.

South of the border, tornadoes caused extensive damage in the Oklahoma City area.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of Central and Eastern Kansas under a slight risk of severe weather.
