The Gaither group is very well known amoung gospel lovers and has played to sold out concerts world wide. If you would like a sampling of their wonderful music you can find them on many of the Christian channels. They also perform on CMT from time to time. I have to tell you, I'm a lover of all kinds of music. From the 50's to present. From Country to Rock. I'll even listen to some rap if it's not the "cop killer, hate your fellow man" stuff. I would rank The Gaither gospel series as the Best of the Best! Catch them on youtube.com. They are outstanding!

I love how people think that if they have to walk 5 blocks in downtown Wichita they will get robbed. You must be the most paranoid people and are not even able to leave your house. It's Wichita, not Detroit.

Hate to tell you all, but the Gaither concerts ranked 4th in sales worldwide in 2008, topping most of the "big" acts you think you want. The market is there for this, as they were the quickest sellouts for the state fair in September. Perhaps you should be informed before you continue to whine.

All of the other names announced are big. I have no idea who this is, and I'm pretty sure that he's a good artist in the genre, but if they keep this up, they won't have to worry about parking, because less people are going to go.

Wow...another big name. The best part about this, with the current parking plan, is that they can thank god when they get there that they survived the walk from their car. They can then pray that they make it back to their car before they leave. Hallelujah!
