Are You Ready For a Good Time?
Six years ago, volunteers for El Dorado Main Street wanted to create a festival that would not only keep the area's history alive, but would also bring people into the downtown area. This idea has turned into one of the fastest growing festivals in the region, bringing talented bull riders from a four-state area to compete in the IPRA-Sanctioned "Extreme Bull Blowout", the biggest little bull riding event in the state. The festival also brings the KCBS-Sanctioned "Smoke on the Prairie" State Championship BBQ Contest, two exciting and entertaining concerts, "Frontier Can Chaser Classic" barrel racing, Cowboy Mounted Shooting, a Ranch Rodeo and lots more. Fun for the whole family!
Located at the El Dorado Civic Center, Butler County History Center and Butler County Fairgrounds, this festival relies on almost 150 volunteers, local companies, and the City of El Dorado to turn an empty parking lot into a full sized bull riding arena and concert location.
Voted Best New Event of 2009 by the National Federation of Professional Bullriders!
