Spend your Memorial weekend with us! Browse the car show, throw some horseshoes and enjoy BBQ all in one weekend. To accommodate our event-goers, we've moved our 2-day event to Saturday/Sunday. So please take note of the new days.
Saturday starts at 2pm with a Co-ed Sand Volleyball Tournament (team registrations are due by May 20). Enjoy the social in the park, including a beer garden opening at 2pm and BBQ teams selling food starting at 5pm. Don't forget about "Frank's Attribute to Elvis" from 7-9pm in the historic Opera House. Contact Diana Kaiser (785.938.4416) or Janet Ziegler (785.673.3021) for tickets.
Sunday is jam-packed with lots of activities for all:
Horseshoes: 10am
Car Show: 11am-3pm
Car Awards: 3pm
BBQ Awards: 3:30pm
BBQ Buffet at the American Legion: 4:30pm ($10 buffet • 4-10 years: $5 • 3 years & under: Free)
Paramount-80s Tribute Band: 7pm (Join us as we rock to the 80s - big hair optional)
Other activities throughout Sunday include: Beer garden & refreshment stands (breakfast & lunch options available), 50/50 raffle, kids activities including Bumpy Knuckles the Clown (he’s back for another year of clownin’ around so don’t miss out on all the fun), sand scramble, bottle toss, duck pond, rides in the NexTech train & pony rides, craft show in the Opera House (9am-3pm), and much more!
