Eleven-year-old Harligh is a typical boy. He loves wildlife, the outdoors and guns.
“When I grow up I want to be a gun designer,” Harligh said. “That way I can donate guns to the army.”
He also wants to grow up, with a forever family. As a foster child, he has learned to overcome obstacles.
He is a 6th grader with ambition and loves to tackle new hobbies.
“Video games are my hobby,” he said. “But I have a new hobby and it’s reading.”
Harligh’s favorite books are the “Harry Potter” series and “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” But there is nothing wimpy about this brave boy.
He got up close and personal with slithering snakes at the Great Plains Nature Center with KAKE’s Susan Peters.
“Snakes can smell fear and stuff,” he said.
