WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

The riverfront legacy master plan group is hosting a public open house Tuesday night in Wichita to show the public some final ideas dealing with the project.

Their website states they want Wichitans to "discover how input, data and research come together," in this meeting. The design team will show their final renderings and recommendations for the master plan site. They also will include a cost breakdown funding strategies.

"As we forward into January, there'll be some funding and implementation recommendations that will be a part of the study," said Evan Rosell with the Greater Wichita Partnership. "Then we can present to the city, and the county and cross those bridges when we get there."

The event is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Newman University Dugan Library and Campus Center at 3100 McCormick St. For information on parking you can visit their Facebook page or go to their website.
