Former K-State quarterback Michael Bishop suffers stroke

Michael Bishop, a K-State legend revealed on Monday he suffered a stroke recently. 

Bishop posted the news on his Twitter account and said he's recovering and will begin rehab soon. 

He started at quarterback for Kansas State in 1997 and 1998 where he rewrote the schools record books. 

Bishop passed for over 4,000 yards and scored 59 total touchdowns. 

The Galveston, Texas native also finished as the runner-up in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1998.
