WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

The snow day event scheduled for the morning of New Year's Eve has been postponed. A new date has not been scheduled.

Previous story:

Wichita had a record high temperature of 68 degrees on Christmas day. But for those of you who do miss the snow, the City of Wichita has scheduled another snow day for December 31.

The free event with man-made snow will again be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Mid-America All-Indian Center. Artificial snow will be provided by Snow Bros Snowmakers.

There will be free coffee and hot chocolate while supplies last.

It's open to everyone, but adult supervision is required for children under the age of 10.
