A year after losing to Oklahoma by 32, Wichita State found a way to take down another Big 12 team in a matter of days.

The Shockers trailed the Sooners by 5 at the half, but a 12-0 second half run in the final 10 minutes helped seal the deal for Wichita State.

WSU improves to 9-1 with one more game coming up before the Christmas break with VCU at the Roundhouse.

Erik Stevenson led the Shockers with 16 points while Trey Wade added 11.

During halftime of the game, a special event took place: Chevrolet and the Military Warriors Support Foundation honored wounded combat hero Former Army Specialist Taylor Marshall as a Chevrolet "Everyday Hero" for his service and sacrifice to the United States. To honor both him and his family, Marshall was presented a ceremonial key to a Chevy Equinox, which will be free of any payments, from Hometown Chevy Dealers during halftime of the game.
