The Shockers left Stillwater with a statement win.

Wichita State led by as many as 29 points on Sunday against Oklahoma State as they cruised to an 80-61 win.

It's the first non-conference road win for the Shockers.

Tyson Etienne led Wichita State with 19 points, while Erik Stevenson and Jaime Echenique added 13 points apiece.

"Anytime you can go on the road against a team and a program like that and get a win like that, I don't care what day it is or what year it is, it's special," said Head Coach Gregg Marshall

"It shows that we can play on the road a little bit," Erik Stevenson said. "It's our only non-conference road game it was on our mind that we have to get this one.  It was a big opportunity. We played a beautiful brand of basketball for a majority of the game."

The Shockers face Oklahoma next on Saturday at Intrust Bank Arena.
