NORMAN – Sophomore guard Taylor Robertson has been named Big 12 Co-Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Robertson shares the award with Texas Tech senior forward Brittany Brewer.
This is the fifth conference weekly honor of the McPherson, Kan., product's career after she garnered Big 12 Freshman of the Week accolades four times in 2018-19. Robertson's award is the first for the Sooners this season.

Robertson registered back-to-back 20+-point performances last week, as she scored team-highs against Abilene Christian (21) and Wichita State (30). Against ACU, Robertson hit seven 3-pointers, going 7-for-12 (58.35) from beyond the arc.

At Wichita State Shockers, Robertson drained a career-high nine 3-pointers to match the school record for treys in a game. She joins two OU players to have hit as many 3s in a game: Nyeshia Stevenson at Marist on Dec, 9, 2009 and Carin Stites at Arkansas Nov. 27, 1990 and vs. UTSA on Jan. 21, 1991.

The Kansas product shot 58.8% (10-for-17) from the field and 56.3% (9-of-16) from beyond the arc at WSU. Six of her nine 3s came in the second half as OU rallied to come within a point of Wichita State after trailing by as many as 16 in the first.

With her 30 points at Wichita State, Robertson joins teammate Ana Llanusa as two of the three Big 12 players to have a 30-point performance this season.

Additionally, Robertson's nine made 3s at Wichita State tie for the most in a single game in women's Division I basketball this season.

Robertson also sits atop the national rankings for both made 3s and 3s per game (5.57) this season. She is averaging the most 3s per game of any player in men's or women's Division I basketball.

Robertson and the Sooners are on the road Wednesday to face Western Kentucky at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
