WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Vandals has again tarnished a a Wichita tradition this year. On it's opening weekend, one of The Arc's Lights best Christmas displays was taken out of order.

The Arc of Sedgwick County said Monday that its Singing Bulbs display was vandalized.

"Stolen from us was a large black tool box containing our lights controller, sound amplifier and FM transmitter," the Facebook post says. "We are frustrated and saddened that theft and vandalism continue to affect The Arc’s Lights."

The Arc's Lights at Douglas and St. Paul is a big fundraiser for The Arc of Sedgwick County, which helps developmentally disabled people in the area with resources for independent living.
