Kansas sheriff's office cancels all crime for Thanksgiving

A Kansas sheriff's office has canceled all criminal activity for Thanksgiving.

With its tongue planted firmly in its cheek, the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office took to Facebook on Thursday to apologized to those to had plans to commit crimes. 

"If this cancelation has affected you, please message us with the date, time, and location of your planned criminal activity and we will accommodate you to the best of our ability," the post says. "Thank you and have a happy Thanksgiving."
