Police: Woman who was stabbed sought help at Wichita QuikTrip

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Police say a 31-year-old woman was stabbed and sought help at a QuikTrip near downtown Wichita early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded at around 3:45 a.m. to the report of a stabbing at the QuikTrip at 750 South Broadway, near Kellogg. Police spokesperson Charley Davidson said the woman arrived at the convenience store and reported being stabbed. 

She was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Officer Davidson said a lack of cooperation is hindering the ability of investigators to find out exactly what happened, including where the stabbing took place.
