Steam locomotive rolling across Kansas

You have a chance to see rolling history in Kansas this week.

The Union Pacific historic steam locomotive Big Boy No. 4014 is expected to arrive in Topeka Tuesday afternoon.   Wednesday's schedule includes stops in Abilene at 12:15, then on to Salina at 2:15 p.m.

On Thursday the locomotive will leave Salina and visit Ellsworth, Russell and Hays.    The locomotive departs Hays Friday with stops in Ellis, Quinter, Oakley and Sharon Springs.
