MISSING IN KANSAS: Frederick Iwert

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) -

Decades after a man was believed to be murdered in north Kansas, his remains have yet to be found.

Frederick Albert Iwert was last seen on April 20, 1983, at his farm in rural Washington County, Kan.

Neighbor J. Ted Gardner, was convicted of first-degree murder, forgery and attempted theft in Fred’s disappearance. J.T. passed away on February 2015.
