Shockers tie school record with 15 made three pointers in win over UT-Martin

In a complete reversal of Wichita State's game against Texas Southern, the Shockers almost couldn't miss on Saturday against UT-Martin. 

WSU hit 10 of their first 11 shots in the first half to jump out to a 28-4 lead and never looked back. 

The Shockers shot 68 percent in the first half and 56 in the game as they cruised to a 103-62 victory. 

Tyson Etienne led the way with 21 points. The freshman was 5/8 from behind the arc. 

Sophomore Jamarius Burton returned to the floor after missing the Texas Southern game with a sprained ankle. 

Burton finished with 18 points in 22 minutes on the floor. 

Morris Udeze started his first game for Wichita State and made it count. He had 14 points and 2 rebounds. 

Wichita State improves to 3-0. They host Gardner-Webb on Tuesday at 7 pm.
