Police identify woman killed in north Wichita accident

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

A woman is dead after an accident in north Wichita.

Emergency crews were called just after 10 p.m. Monday to 53rd Street North and Charles where they found an overturned Ford Escape that had crashed into a power pole after colliding with a Honda Crosstour.

The 27-year-old male driver of the Escape was seriously injured and his passenger, 28-year-old Sierra Frost, was found unresponsive. EMS performed life-saving measures but Frost died from her injuries at the scene.

The 72-year-old driver of the Honda was not injured.

Police said the driver of the Escape was traveling southbound on Charles street and ran a stop sign at West 53rd Street, colliding with the westbound Crosstour.
