WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita police say they have arrested a man and a teenager who allegedly lured a 19-year-old to an apartment complex and robbed him.

Police spokesperson Charley Davidson said 20-year-old Ricky Wright and a 15-year-old boy were arrested Tuesday afternoon for aggravated robbery.

Officers responded at around 1:15 p.m. to the report of a robbery at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of South Hydraulic, near MacArthur. The 19-year-old victim said he went to the apartments to meet who he believed was a female he'd been texting.

Davidson said when the 19-year-old arrived at the apartment building, Wright and teen, who were armed to a handgun and a knife, confronted the victim and demanded money.

The suspects fled in a red Honda Civic but were located near Lincoln and Hydraulic. Officers arrested them without incident. Davidson said a handgun, knife and the victim's money were recovered.
