K-State wraps up exhibition play with a 66-56 win over Washburn

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KAKE) -

K-State beat Washburn 66-56 on Wednesday to wrap up exhibition play. 

The Wildcats were sloppy in their final tuneup, turning the ball over 21 times in the win. 

K-State's Makol Mawien had a team high 16 points and Xavier Sneed chipped in a double-double, with 10 points and 10 rebounds. 

The Wildcats open up the regular season on Tuesday night against North Dakota State.
