WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

The Kansas Highway Patrol says about a dozen vehicles got flat tires when they ran over a piece of metal debris in northeast Wichita.

A KHP dispatcher said Friday afternoon that the debris on K-96 west of Rock Road had been cleared and there were no injuries or accidents.

Drivers were asked to slow down in the area because of the number of disabled vehicles on both sides of the roadway.
