Mahomes returns to Chiefs practice field

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -

Less than a week after suffering a dislocated kneecap, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is back on the practice field.

Head Coach Andy Reid told reporters Mahomes will throw the ball at practice today and they will see if he can make it through some individual drills.

Mahomes was expected to miss three weeks due to the injury. The Chiefs host Green Bay Sunday night.
