Cloud 9 Therapeutic Equine Foundation saved, new zoning permit approved

The Cloud 9 Therapeutic Equine team is heading home to continue living their dream: serving veterans with PTSD and kids with special needs through horse therapy.

Monday morning, their new zoning and conditional use permit was approved by the Sumner County Commission. it's been a long road to get to this day, but it's shown them why they do what they do.

"I think we realize how important it is when you're faced with possibly losing something like that and seeing the impact, how very important it was to the people we worked with and how much they were willing to stand up for it, write letters, and help us through the process."

Now that their grounds for healing are saved, they're already looking ahead to the future, and expanding their non profit.

Now we're just looking for funding so we can build an indoor arena so we can serve our veterans and children with special needs year round so we don't have to shut down during winter months."

With many visions of what's, they're just grateful to continue changing lives through this unique therapy.
