KU basketball picked third in AP preseason poll

Kansas is ranked third in the AP preseason basketball poll.   The Jayhawks received three first-place votes and trail only Michigan State and Kentucky in the rankings.  KU has its first exhibition game Thursday at home against Fort Hays State.
