Previous story:

A head-on crash in Reno County killed three men Sunday morning.

A captain with the Reno County Sheriff's Office said two trucks crashed head-on in the 3400 block of S Yoder Road just before 11:40 a.m. Someone who discovered the crash called 911.

When first responders arrived, all three men were pronounced dead at the scene. Two men were in one truck, and the other man was the only occupant of the other truck.

The captain said he does not believe wind played a factor in the crash, and investigators believe one of the trucks crossed the center line for an unknown reason.

Kansas state troopers were helping direct traffic to the east, and an accident reconstruction team was still trying to find out what led to the crash. Yoder Road is expected to be closed between E Illinois Ave and E Stroud Rd until late Sunday afternoon.

The identities of the men who died have not yet been released other than that they are "adult males." We will update this story with more information as it becomes available.
