GREENVILLE, Tenn. (KAKE) -

A father suffered a fatal heart attack one day after learning his son was murdered at a Tennessee laundromat.

WATE reports 33-year-old Christopher Short died on October 2 in Greenville. His dad, Alan, died on October 3. Short's family told the ABC affiliate in Knoxville that Alan was very close to his son and could not bear the news.

Police have not said how Christopher died, but the suspect in his murder, 35-year-old Stanley Mossburg, is also accused in two other murders following his arrest in Florida on Tuesday.

"You have one that was stolen from you. When somebody is murdered, they actually stole that life," Christopher's uncle, Wayne Short, said. "Then the second one was taken from you because of the first one. So, the killer actually killed two people. That made it twice as bad. To have two deaths in two days. I mean, it was pretty rough."

He said he is trying to cope but does not feel any aggression toward the suspected killer..

“The people in my family. Most of them, they get real angry when they hear about. Me, I kind of understand it and I’m angry but you know, I’m not going to express my feelings as anger. It’s more like, I just want justice.”

Greenville is about 70 miles east of Knoxville.
