Surveillance video outside Imagine That Toys at 29th and Rock Road shows a man pulling up and throwing an object right through the window.

The impact shattered the store's front window and that's when Gwen Ottenberg got a phone call.

"They came in and out in less than a minute," she said. "When you get the call from the security company - it's not a fun call to get. I rushed up here and luckily we have great landlords, they were already here. Police were already here."

The vandalism happened just after midnight and while the door was damaged, nothing was taken inside. She thinks the security system scared the suspect off.

"My biggest fear was - glass was everywhere. So the first twenty or thirty customers we said, 'You need to know this happened. We think we have this picked up.'"

Customers said the crime was pretty low.

"I think it's pretty cheap, sad that it happened," said Luke Cox. "We've been shopping here for years."

Another local establishment came to fix her door, a project that was finished by the time they opened. Ottenberg is grateful for the support she received.

"We have a facilitiy's manager that's amazing," she said. "We opened at 10am this morning, couldn't have asked for anything better."

If you have any information that could help in the investigation, you're asked to call police. No one was hurt in the incident.
