Southwest Kansas man killed in crash

SYRACUSE, Kan. (KAKE) -

A Coolidge, Kansas man was killed Friday when his pickup truck crashed.  The crash happened Friday morning on Kansas Highway 27 in Hamilton County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the pickup truck was southbound on the highway when it left the road and entered the ditch.  The truck went through a field and came to a stop when it hit a utility pole. 

Killed was William Reed, 62.  Troopers do not know what caused Reed to lose control of the truck.
