Sculpture stolen from Downtown Salina,

SALINA, Kan. (KAKE) -

An investigation is underway after a sculpture was stolen from downtown Salina. 

A news release from Sculpture Tour Salina says they were notified of a missing sculpture Monday afternoon. The bronze Sculpture known as "Child's Play," went missing between Friday September 13th and Monday the 16th.

The sculpture was last seen leaning against a building on the northwest corner of Iron and Santa Fe Street. 

"Child's Play" has been on exhibit since may of this year and was installed on a concrete pedestal. It weighs about 90 pounds and stands at 35" tall. The sculpture is balued at $10,500. 

Sculpture Tour Salina says they are offering a monetary reward for any information that leads to the arrest and recovery of the sculpture, the news release did not say how much.
