A man has been arrested after a shooting outside a bar in southwest Wichita.
Police responded to a shooting before 2 a.m. Sunday near Seneca and MacArthur. Wichita Police Sgt. Michael Lloyd said they found one man with a gunshot wound on the street. This man had critical injuries. A second victim as taken to the hospital but is expected to survive.
“It sounds like we actually have multiple scenes,” Lloyd said. “Nothing occurred inside the bar itself. It started in the parking lot and then ended on Seneca itself.:
The suspect was arrested early Sunday a few miles north of the bar. Felipe Barrientos, 52, is being held in the Sedgwick County Jail for Aggravated Battery.
