Authorities have arrested a 30-year-old Topeka woman after they found 145 pounds of marijuana in her vehicle.

Janae Williams was booked Tuesday for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office says its Criminal Interdiction United stopped William's vehicle on Interstate 70.

"The traffic stop resulted in the seizure of approximately 145 pounds of marijuana that was destined for the Topeka area," the sheriff's office says. "The marijuana has an estimated street value of $500,000."

The sheriff's office did not say why Willaims was stopped. The incident is still under investigation.
