A photographer in Vienna, Austria, captured a small ground squirrel stopping to smell the flowers, apparently to find out which one would taste the best.

Fox News reports 34-year-old Dick van Duijn told SWNS he took about 200 pictures over two hours in order to capture the moment.

The photos show the squirrel reaching for a yellow daisy and touching the flower with its face. Its eyes close as it appears to inhale the scent. Then it took a bite.

“This curious ground squirrel started smelling and tasting the flower,” Duijn said. “I was really happy after capturing a photo like this.”

He said he went to Austria to photograph the squirrels and that it was great to witness.
