One of the three Best Buy stores in Wichita will close its doors for good this fall, the company confirmed Wednesday.

Best Buy spokesperson Matthew Smith said the company is not renewing the lease for the location at 6700 West Kellogg. The last day of business will be November 2.

Smith said the closure of the west Wichita store is not part of a mass closure. He said Best Buy would attempt to relocate employees to the other locations on Rock Road or New Market Square, or they would offer a severance package.

Best Buy has been at the West Kellogg location since 1993. The store has about 40 full-time employees.

The company generated revenue of more than $42 billion in fiscal 2018.
