A family is asking for people’s help with finding their son, who may be working in Kansas.

Scott Andrew Whitbeck was last heard from on Aug. 2. He was supposedly moving to Fort Smith, Ark., but told his mom, Deb Ainsworth, said he was going to work in Kansas to build houses that were once destroyed. Deb was not sure where Scott was supposed to work.

He speaks with a lisp. Deb said he normally wears sleeveless shirts, jeans and cowboy boots.

Scott, 28, drives a 2011 white Chevy Impala. It has Arkansas plates, tinted windows and a dent on the driver's side by the trunk.
